DUBAI BEAUTY :The Al Seef
      Al Seef is making its mark on Dubai’s heritage district. Beautiful traditions combine with modern designs at this new destination, as the city showcases an inspiring partnership between its proud past and bright future.
      It was a pleasant day when i first visited this place. First, it was new year. Second, we were able to tour around my sister who visited us here in Dubai. Working abroad as OFW-Overseas Filipino Worker is very seldom to be with friends and family because of different time and working day off.

RAMADAN

Ramadan  is the ninth month of the lunar Islamic calendar, which lasts 29 or 30 days according to the visual sightings of the crescent moon according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in Hadiths. It is the Muslim month of fasting, in which Muslims refrain from dawn until sunset from eating, drinking, and sexual relation.

                                     

 Muslims all around the world will abstain from food and drink, through fasting, from dawn to sunset. At sunset, the family will gather the fast-breaking meal known as iftar. The meal starts with the eating of three dates — just as Muhammad used to do. Then it's time for the Maghrib prayer, which is the fourth of the five daily prayers, after which the main meal is served.

I believed that working hard with passion, giving your best with all your heart leads you to success whether its your field or not or simply say " No Choice "

It's been more than a year working like slave in this company with out benefits materially, working overtime without pay, working during holidays. I would say 90% are negative and it is very difficult  to find the 10% positive in this company. But im glad  that in my heart and mind , no matter how small the percentage of that positive i'm still  hold on to it  and i know that it would benefit my inner( spiritual being ), and it gives me more courage to face and fight to whatever hardship that may come across my path.

THE JUICE PALACE( This is the company I'm working with)

For this year exhibit, I'm glad being part and represent the company I'm working with. The exhibit last for 3 days from November 21-23, 2011. The task we are responsible for are: Introducing and promoting our products by giving the visitors, officials and co-exhibitors a free taste; exchanging company's background/profile and conversing on how we deal with other company. We offer fresh fruit salad and fresh juices with no any preservatives.

The Baha'i New Year "Naw-Ruz"

NAW-RUZ

The Báb introduced a new calendar, known now as the Badi'or Bahá'í calendar (see notes 27 and 147). According to thiscalendar, a day is the period from sunset to sunset. In theBayan, the Báb ordained the month of Ala' to be the monthof fasting, decreed that the day of Naw-Ruz should markthe termination of that period, and designated Naw-Ruz asthe Day of God. Bahá'u'lláh confirms the Badi' calendarwherein Naw-Ruz is designated as a feast.Naw-Ruz is the first day of the new year. It coincideswith the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere, whichusually occurs on 21 March. Bahá'u'lláh explains that thisfeast day is to be celebrated on whatever day the sun passesinto the constellation of Aries (i.e. the vernal equinox), evenshould this occur one minute before sunset (Q and A 35).Hence Naw-Ruz could fall on 20, 21, or 22 March,depending on the time of the equinox.Bahá'u'lláh has left the details of many laws to be filled 178 in by the Universal House of Justice. Among these are anumber of matters affecting the Bahá'í calendar. TheGuardian has stated that the implementation, worldwide,of the law concerning the timing of Naw-Ruz will requirethe choice of a particular spot on earth which will serve asthe standard for the fixing of the time of the spring equinox.He also indicated that the choice of this spot has been left tothe decision of the Universal House of Justice.

Praised be Thou, O my God, that Thou hast ordained

Naw-Ruz as a festival unto those who have observed the fast for love of Thee and abstained from all that is abhorrent unto thee. Grant, O my Lord, that the fire of Thy love and the heat produced by the fast enjoined by Thee may inflame them in Thy Cause, and make them to be occupied with Thy praise and with remembrance of Thee.
Since thou hast adorned them, O my Lord, with the ornament of the fast prescribed by Thee, do Thou adorn them also with the ornament of Thine acceptance, through Thy grace and bountiful favor. For the doings of men are all dependent upon Thy good-pleasure, and are conditioned by Thy behest. Shouldst Thou regard him who hath broken the fast as one who hath observed it, such a man would be reckoned among them who 262 from eternity had been keeping the fast. And shouldst Thou decree that he who hath observed the fast hath broken it, that person would be numbered with such as have caused the Robe of Thy Revelation to be stained with dust, and been far removed from the crystal waters of this living Fountain.
Thou art He through Whom the ensign "Praise-worthy art Thou in Thy works" hath been lifted up, and the standard "Obeyed art Thou in thy behest" hath been unfurled. Make known this Thy station, O my God, unto Thy servants, that they may be made aware that the excellence of all things is dependent upon Thy bidding and Thy word, and the virtue of every act is conditioned by Thy leave and the good pleasure of Thy will, and may recognize that the reins of men's doings are within the grasp of Thine acceptance and Thy commandment. Make this known unto them, that nothing whatsoever may shut them out from Thy Beauty, in these days whereon the Christ exclaimeth: "All dominion is Thine, O Thou the Begetter of the Spirit (Jesus)"; and Thy Friend (Muhammad) crieth out: "Glory be to Thee, O Thou the Best-Beloved, for that thou hast uncovered 263 thy Beauty, and written down for Thy chosen ones what will cause them to attain unto the seat of the revelation of Thy Most Great Name, through which all the peoples have lamented excepted such as have detached themselves from all else except Thee, and set themselves towards Him Who is the Revealer of Thyself and the Manifestation of Thine attributes."
He Who is Thy Branch and all Thy company, O my Lord, have broken this day their fast, after having observed it within the precincts of Thy court, and in their eagerness to please Thee. Do Thou ordain for Him, and for them, and for all such as have entered Thy presence in those days all the good Thou didst destine in Thy Book. Supply them, then, with that which will profit them, in both this life and in the life beyond.
Thou, in truth, art the the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

The Baha'i World Center celebrated the Naw-Ruz at the Seat of the Universal House of Justice at the Concourse Hall. The programmed composed of 8 readings, afterwards we proceeded to the steps of the Seat of the UHJ and the Tablet of Visitation was recited followed by circumambulation of the Shrine of the Bab.

O Pen of the Most High! Say: O people of theworld! We have enjoined upon you fasting during a brief period, and at its close have designated for youNaw-Ruz as a feast. Thus hath the Day-Star ofUtterance shone forth above the horizon of the Book asdecreed by Him Who is the Lord of the beginning andthe end. Let the days in excess of the months be placedbefore the month of fasting. We have ordained thatthese, amid all nights and days, shall be the manifestationsof the letter Ha, and thus they have not beenbounded by the limits of the year and its months. Itbehoveth the people of Baha, throughout these days, toprovide good cheer for themselves, their kindred and,beyond them, the poor and needy, and with joy andexultation to hail and glorify their Lord, to sing Hispraise and magnify His Name; and when they end -- these days of giving that precede the season ofrestraint -- let them enter upon the Fast. Thus hath itbeen ordained by Him Who is the Lord of all mankind.The traveller, the ailing, those who are with child orgiving suck, are not bound by the Fast; they have beenexempted by God as a token of His grace. He, verily, isthe Almighty, the Most Generous.

WORLD HERITAGE

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) seeks to encourage the identification, protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. This is embodied in an international treaty called the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, adopted by UNESCO in 1972.
UNESCO's World Heritage mission is to:
encourage countries to sign the World Heritage Convention and to ensure the protection of their natural and cultural heritage;
encourage States Parties to the Convention to nominate sites within their national territory for inclusion on the World Heritage List;
encourage States Parties to establish management plans and set up reporting systems on the state of conservation of their World Heritage sites;
help States Parties safeguard World Heritage properties by providing technical assistance and professional training;
provide emergency assistance for World Heritage sites in immediate danger;
support States Parties' public awareness-building activities for World Heritage conservation;
encourage participation of the local population in the preservation of their cultural and natural heritage;
encourage international cooperation in the conservation of our world's cultural and natural heritage.

The World Heritage List includes 878 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value.
These include 679 cultural , 174 natural and 25 mixed properties in 145 States Parties. As of April 2009, 186 States Parties have ratified the World Heritage Convention.

Yesterday,03 April 2009, The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization( UNESCO) announced to the world that the Bahai Wold Center have been recognized for their outstanding value to humanity as a whole. The Baha'i properties particularly the Shrines sorrounded with beautifull gardens opened to the public, to the citizens of Israel, tourists and pilgrims from different cities, countries with different religious background, Muslims, Jews, Christians and Bahai'i's came together in one goal to witness and enjoy the beauty of the Baha'i Sacred Places.
